Less plastic, more glass: our everyday commitments

A more responsible hotel starts with a series of practical choices, made every day. Here are Le Relais Saint-Honoré’s, along with a few ideas for travelling lighter during your stay.

Water filtered on site, served in glass bottles

At Le Relais Saint-Honoré, our water doesn’t travel by lorry: it is filtered on site from mains water using the AquaChiara system, then served in glass bottles that we wash and reuse.

This avoids packs of plastic bottles, along with their transport, storage and waste. The water keeps its minerals but loses the taste of chlorine. For you, it means fresh water, still or sparkling, always available.

Plastic-free toiletries

In the bathrooms, the toiletries by Fragonard, the perfume house founded in Grasse, come without plastic, in cardboard and recycled paper packaging. The same comfort, with far less waste at the end of each stay.

Our neighbours and local suppliers

We prefer to work with Parisian artisans close to the hotel. Shorter supply chains, and products we know well.

• Brute de Pain: the bread and pastries served at breakfast come from this artisan bakery.
• Belle Fleur Paris: the bouquets that decorate reception and the shared spaces are arranged by this Parisian florist.

Less paper

The hotel’s welcome booklet is available via QR code, as is the room service menu. You have all the information on your phone, with no unnecessary printing.

During your stay, Paris is best explored on foot

From Rue Saint-Honoré, most of the major sights are within walking distance: the Tuileries Garden in 3 minutes, the Palais-Royal and Place Vendôme in 5 minutes, the Louvre in 10 minutes and the Opéra Garnier in 12 minutes. To go further, Pyramides station, 4 minutes away, is served by line 14, which runs directly to Orly Airport, Gare de Lyon and Gare Saint-Lazare.

A few simple habits also make a difference: switching off the air conditioning when you leave the room, keeping your towels for several days if you wish, or taking a reusable water bottle for the day. Our reception team will be delighted to suggest the loveliest walks around the hotel.
