Cookery classes at the Ritz-Escoffier School in Paris

The school now offers classes to suit your level and your wishes, and sometimes invites renowned guests for master classes. Cookery classes

From a simple three-hour session to three-day intensive courses, the cookery classes can cover basic techniques such as cutting and cooking, or go as far as revealing all the secrets of a single ingredient. “Haute couture cuisine”, “discovering the tomato” or “a trip to the market” will make you the perfect host for your next dinner parties. Prices range from €150 for three hours to €890 for the privilege of spending three days alongside the Ritz chefs.

Pastry classes

You love cooking, but what you love most… is pastry! Classes are also available for chocolate lovers (among others). Learn the delicate art of caramel or macarons in two- or three-hour sessions, revisit sweet tarts or follow step by step the meticulous instructions of a Michelin-starred chef invited by the school: you are spoilt for choice! From €110 to €140 (€240 for classes with “star guests”).

Family and children’s classes

Young parents can share a special moment with their child. Classes are offered for teenagers (12–15) and younger children (6–11). You can share the class by choosing a duo session. All these classes cost €110, or €200 for a duo.

Signature workshops and short courses

For readers who already have a good grounding, go straight to the signature workshops, which are a level higher. Workshops on cocktails or wine await you (€130 to €175).
If you have some money set aside for training, this might even give you ideas for a career change! This summer, the École Ritz-Escoffier offers three-day courses in palace-style cooking or pastry. The cost is significant, though: between €1,500 and €1,800.
